World Wins International is proud to announce its release of the (act)small campaign!

As founders of this nonprofit, we have traveled to Belize and Ghana and had the privilege of seeing first hand the difference a small, personal touch can make on an individual, on a life. We realize that we are very fortunate to be able to travel overseas and have these personal contacts, and that not everybody has yet had (or maybe yet desires) that opportunity. It was not always that way though. We started differently. World Wins, in fact, started differently.

That is why we we created the (act)small campaign.

Our first significant experience with giving to an overseas project, or for that matter, to directly impact others at all, was in late 2003. We played a small part in the acquisition of a 3000 gal. holding tank and gravity feed pressurized water system for a church property in Ghana. The water system at that time consisted solely of a community pump that came on twice a week, allowing villagers to fill what buckets and barrels they had. With the addition of the new tank in 2003, the church’s storage increased to a week of normal use without being refilled from the community’s pump system. This newfound capacity birthed the vision for a school and feeding program, and in early 2004, the foundation for the school was dug on the church property. By mid 2004, Revival Harvest Academy was an up-and-running reality. Today, RHA has approximately 200 students in attendance receiving a first rate education, spiritual direction, and a daily meal.

One small act, when combined with 9 other families and individuals, was put together to make a big difference.

We will be collecting and posting projects in various countries around the world. A new well for the school in Ghana, bibles for a leper’s colony church in Nigeria, computers for a small rural church in Louisiana, and new homes for an AIDS orphanage in Tanzania. You get the idea.

The budget for each of these projects will be divided into multiple $5 "project shares", and you will be able to purchase, share by share, your piece of that project. Small acts, big impacts.

For every $5 you spend we will authorize you one project share to apply to the project of your choice. You can also go to worldwins.etsy.com, and buy jewlery that support the Somanya Well project with shares attached to each piece you buy!

Join our mailing list below, or add our RSS feed to stay up to date. the new projects will be posted on our new blog at actsmall.org, and linked back here as well!
