About WorldWins Int’l

Worldwins International, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization founded in Idaho in 2005 by Chad and Amy Houck.  The original intent of the organization was to provide a more formal structure to the already existing work they found themselves involved in both here in the US and in Ghana, West Africa.  Since its first day, the founding principles of World Wins centered around a vision of a greater equality, a greater generosity, and a greater community with others, anchored in the scriptural truth of 1 John 3:16-18.

16This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. 17If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? 18Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.

- 1 John 3:16-18 NIV

Mission:

To partner with individuals and communities worldwide to help them dismantle spiritual and physical poverty by sharing the Love of Christ through action.

Our Focus:

We create or foster development projects and partnerships that either generate or increase access to water, food, shelter, education, and micro-finance services.

Our “Projects”

UthBuild: (US, Mexico) Building Youth through construction projects that allow them to share with the less fortunate while shattering their own paradigms.  Additional programs have now been created that will be funding scholarships for needy youth whose families have been project beneficiaries, such as our home construction recipient families in Mexico.

Share5 Network Fund: (International) Funds invested through Kiva.org to help create opportunities for the working poor.  Currently providing zero interest capital to Christian Microfinance Partners in Dominican Republic, Rwanda, Ghana, Ukraine, China, and several other nations.

Revival Harvest Academy: (Somanya, Ghana) RHA is the seed that started Worldwins in 2001.  Now serving over 250 students, RHA continues to grow while providing a biblical education to a village of promising young children.

Share5 Tour: (US) Since October 2008, this road trip has been the proving ground for sharing Christ with others through our actions.  Relationships created through this tour are the basis for the book “Share Well With Others”.

Through these ideas and many more, we seek to dismantle the spiritual and physical poverty we see so abundantly around us.
