The progress has been good.  I got the north side dropped enough to accomodate a deeper footing, and we decided to step the footing for the west uphill wall.  That will save a ton of digging, and that also happens to be the rockiest section, so AMEN!

If things go as planned, we should pour some parts of the footing next week or today.  We are hand mixing the concrete and have high wind today, so those two don't mix well.  (think flour and a big fan..)
